Pro’s View on: Nate Ingram- Tight End
Anthony Beck’s view on video:
Nate Ingram truly has the size and all the tools to be an excellent TE in the college ranks. What makes him unique is that he has the rare combination of athleticism to run all the routes and to also be a dominate run blocker as well. In watching some of the plays that were sent I would say there are a few areas that Nate can improve to truly be the complete TE that all the big schools are looking for. First when running the in and out pass routes always stay friendly to the QB and comeback towards him. Your athleticism gets you open, but with the detail of the route will bring you the yards after the catch that will make you a dominate receiver. Also catching all the balls away from your body with your hands. You have a great ability to catch the ball but forming those good habits now will pay dividends for you in the future. And finally as blocking is concerned, that is my specialty and at the end of the day it is simply an attitude. You seem to want to be great at it, so continue it by finishing every play and don’t take any plays for granted. When you are being recruited that critique everything, so keep that in mind. Good luck Nate!
