Chris Hayes

Chris Hayes Biography After graduating from Washington State University, Chris Hayes was drafted by the New York Jets in the seventh round (210th pick overall) of the 1996 NFL draft. He was waived by the Jets at the end of training camp in August, 1996, and signed on to the Washington Redskins practice squad that September. After being waived again by the Redskins on October 1, 1996, Chris was immediately signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad. Chris played in all three of Green Bay ’s post season games in 1996, including Super Bowl XXXI against the New England Patriots, which brought him home a ring. Chris was traded back to the Jets in June, 1997; re-signed with the Jets in March, 1998; and was later activated to the active roster in December. This roller coaster ride was just his introduction to the NFL. Chris went on to finish with 8 years in the league and what seemed like 25 years of hard- hitting experience.
After retiring from the NFL with a wealth of knowledge an a arsenal of skills, Chris was well pre- pared to face a post-pro-ball world with a new-found determination to succeed. Chris was born on May 7, 1972, in San Bernardino, California. He worked with troubled teenagers during his college and professional career, and has continued to intensify his outreach efforts since retiring from the NFL. He frequently visits detention centers and county jails in the California area.
Chris credits the time he spent in the Fairfax (CA) Continuation School as the major turning point in his life after he was expelled from high school as a sophomore. Chris recognizes his high school coach, Carl Gayton, and his continuation teacher, Dean Nord, as two people who help him get back on track at an early age in life. Chris and his wife, Aran, have three sons Christopher, Jr., Isaiah, and Jeremiah. Mr. Hayes is founder of Chris Hayes Motivational, an organization engaged in moving young people and businesses in the right direction through the creation of personal objectives and strategies, focused execution and the measurement of performance.
He is also the founder of 3030 Productions Inc. An organizations that goes throughout the inner cities in Southern California uplifting the youth, through interactive programs that are geared towards building strong communities.

Wehad a saying in the NFL and it went like this.. “Play at a level that your the other team is either unable or unwilling to match” I believe in the video Justn does just that. He has fantastic athletic ability and great balance. He seems to have a good feel for the ball as well. The saying speed kills does apply in this situation, but at the next level so does playing with your pads high. Justins first three steps are great and he seems to be well coached, other than I feel he has his wrong hand down when coming from a three point. Looking at the down and didstance, he doesnt seem to slow down and wait for the game to come to him. What I mean is soem players will try and predict what other teams are doing on first and second down.. ie run the ball so they play the scheme. Justin plays one hundread miles an hour on every down, he also does a great job on passing situations of taking half a man when rushing the passer. I would like to see him in a whole game, but I believe he is an intense young man who plays the game with a lot of fun.

Cory Withrow:

After finishing his tenth year in the National Football league, Cory is using his experience on and off the field to better the youth of tomorrow. Knowing the importance of being mentored by men who want to see him succeed, he now turns his attention and focus on paying it forward to allow student athletes recognize their full potential. Reputed for being both a physical player and a strategist, Cory saw fit to attend the NFL’s Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. During this intensive three-day program, Withrow and other NFL players, including then teammate Marques Harris, learned how to best evaluate and articulate business opportunities in general, and in the sports industry specifically. Cory intends to leverage this experience, along with his quick wit, charisma and aptitude for public speaking, into a radio and/or television broadcasting career when he ultimately retires from the game.

Nate Ingram truly has the size and all the tools to be an excellent TE in the college ranks. What makes him unique is that he has the rare combination of athleticism to run all the routes and to also be a dominate run blocker as well. In watching some of the plays that were sent I would say there are a few areas that Nate can improve to truly be the complete TE that all the big schools are looking for. First when running the in and out pass routes always stay friendly to the QB and comeback towards him. Your athleticism gets you open, but with the detail of the route will bring you the yards after the catch that will make you a dominate receiver. Also catching all the balls away from your body with your hands. You have a great ability to catch the ball but forming those good habits now will pay dividends for you in the future. And finally as blocking is concerned, that is my specialty and at the end of the day it is simply an attitude. You seem to want to be great at it, so continue it by finishing every play and don’t take any plays for granted. When you are being recruited that critique everything, so keep that in mind. Good luck Nate!

Chris Hayes’s view on video:

This player plays at a very high level on both sides of the ball. Tremendous speed and is very aggressive when attacking the ball. Player has good balance, plays beneath his pads and is explosive when making a tackle. Player has good hand placement when jamming receivers at the line of scrimmage and is aware of his surroundings. Overall, player is definitely a D1 player that can contribute on both sides of the ball as well as on special teams as a returner.

Chris Hayes

Chris Hayes was drafted by the New York Jets in the seventh round (210th pick overall) of the 1996 NFL draft.

Ryan Middleton #,CB 5’11 180lbs

Player has prototypical height and weight of a D1 corner back. Player can be aggressive @ times but plays to high and lacks the 4.3-4.4 speed to cover today’s D1 wide receivers. Player does show the ability to close and does go up for the ball @ the highest point. My suggestion to player would be to work more on techniques and fundamentals starting with the jam @ the line of scrimmage. Player also can contribute on special teams.
